Melissa Mulligan is a vocal coach, music career consultant and the owner/founder of the online music academy Music Career Mastermind.
She has been obsessed with helping musical creatives achieve their career goals for more than two decades.
As a voice and artist development coach, she has worked with artists such as Jack from AJR, Coley O’Toole (Green Day / We The Kings), Chelsea Cutler, Jeremy Zucker, Reed Shannon (Emmy-winning Arcane), Jordan Pundik of New Found Glory, Broadway and film star Chiara Aurelia, Broadway guitarist Dillon Kondor, Ricky Manning, American Idol’s Ajii, Hailey Knox, world-touring drummer Caitlin Kalafus, UK recording artist Oaklnd, John Lennon Songwriting Award winner Aria Lisslo, and countless professional recording artists, producers, songwriters and touring musicians.
Melissa also serves as a vocal consultant for record labels, management firms and music industry professionals.
In 2025, she traveled to Albania for Eurovision’s qualifying festival, Fik 64, as the official vocal coach for Kimi, and spent the week supporting several finalists, including Albania’s Eurovision representative, Alis Kalici.
Melissa’s clients have topped the charts, signed to major record labels, toured sold-out stadiums all over the world, won platinum and gold records, performed on all the late night and day time talk shows, launched successful music industry and production companies, and attended prestigious music programs such as NYU, USC, Belmont University, NEC, Manhattan School of Music, Berklee College of Music, and many more.
Melissa is also a popular workshop facilitator who has spoken at locations across the country, including Yale University’s School of Music in New Haven, CT and the VocalizeU Artist Development Retreat in California. She also hosts the popular podcast chartless, with Melissa Mulligan which offers interviews, resources and advice for those on this crazy – but beautiful – creative journey.
